Grounded builds modular electric vans, fitted out as anything from mobile medical clinics to camper vans. As orders grew, it had two problems: more fabrication work than its own shop could take, and finished vans that had to reach customers across the U.S. on time and undamaged.
Bloom started by connecting Grounded with contract manufacturers it could call on for specific subassemblies: metal fabrication, extrusions, welding, and laser tube cutting. For delivery, carriers in the network move the finished vans from Grounded’s floor to the customer’s driveway.
