Bloom Raises $3.6M Oversubscribed Seed Round Led by SNAK Venture Partners to Bring Hardware Supply Chains Online

Detroit-based AI-native marketplace has completed 2,000+ successful matches for 140+ hardware companies in drones, robotics and mobility; new capital expands BloomPay financing and agentic supply chain booking.

DETROIT, Oct. 7, 2026 — Bloom, the AI-native marketplace for hardware supply chains, today announced an oversubscribed $3.6 million seed round led by SNAK Venture Partners, with participation from Flyover Capital, Mana Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners (DVP), Family VC, Invest Detroit Ventures (IDV), the Michigan Outdoor Innovation Fund (MOIF), TechNexus and Service Provider Capital (SPC).

Bloom connects hardware companies scaling their supply chains in drones, robots, vehicles and other critical hardware with vetted engineering, manufacturing, logistics and after-sales service providers. To date, more than 140 hardware companies have used Bloom to source partners, and the platform has completed more than 2,000 successful matches.

Most hardware companies still source suppliers through personal networks or slow procurement teams. When a team building an e-motorcycle, drone, or warehouse robot needs a new contract manufacturer, a freight partner cleared to ship lithium batteries, or a service network in a new state, the search typically takes months. Reshoring and tariff volatility have made that search harder: more companies need domestic options, and the domestic provider base is fragmented and hard to reach.

Bloom replaces that search with a single marketplace. Hardware companies post a need once. Bloom structures the request, matches it against a vetted provider network and supports quoting, booking, and payment on the platform. Providers span three categories:

  • Build: contract manufacturing, assembly, design and engineering
  • Deliver: freight, warehousing and hazardous-materials shipping
  • Service: after-sales repair, maintenance and installation

Every request, quote, booking and completed job is captured as structured data, so each match improves the next one.

Bloom will use the new capital to:

  • Expand the business development team. Bloom will grow its business development team to bring more hardware companies onto the platform and widen its vetted provider network.
  • Grow BloomPay financing. BloomPay is Bloom’s embedded payments and financing product. The round funds more capacity so hardware companies can pay for production and freight on terms, subject to credit approval, and providers, many of them small domestic shops, get paid faster.
  • Scale agentic supply chain booking. Bloom will expand its AI agent network to translate and generate hardware needs into structured supplier requests and automate intake, provider matching, quoting, and booking, resulting in simplified coordination for hardware companies and providers.

“I spent years doing this the hard way, moving my prior company’s production from China to Detroit,” said Justin Kosmides, co-founder and CEO of Bloom. “Hardware teams shouldn’t need months and a lucky introduction to find a factory that ships on time. I dreamed of building a platform like Bloom which turns that search into a request, a match to a qualified network and a real booking. This round puts more capital supporting the growth of the marketplace, our embedded finance program (BloomPay), and more of the booking workflow in the hands of our agents, so the companies rebuilding American hardware can spend their time on product instead of procurement and operational pain points.”

“We see Bloom becoming a category-defining marketplace for the hardware industry,” said Sonia Nagar, co-founder of SNAK Venture Partners. “The early signs of network effects are already there: most member brands buy across more than one of build, deliver and service; providers call Bloom their most productive source of new business; and every completed job makes the next match better. Hardware supply chains have run on ‘do you know a guy’ and personal networks for decades. Bloom is bringing them online.”

Bloom was founded in 2023 by Justin Kosmides (CEO), who previously co-founded e-bike maker Vela and spent more than a decade in structured finance at Barclays; Chris Nolte (Co-founder & President), founder of retailer Propel; and Hitesh Chudasama (Co-founder & CPTO), who held product and engineering leadership roles at Upwork and eBay.
